Editorial Policy

Our standards for sourcing, verification, tone and publication.

Editorial principles

We publish original editorial summaries and analysis grounded in attributed source material. We prioritise accuracy over speed and clarity over volume.

  • Every article names its original source and links to it.
  • Material facts are checked against the source before publication.
  • We do not publish defamatory, speculative or unverifiable allegations.
  • We do not publish content that has not been reviewed by a human editor.

Constructive coverage

Our editorial focus is positive and solutions-oriented: capability, investment, safety, efficiency and progress. Where an event is negative — an incident, a dispute, a loss — we report it factually and neutrally, without inference of wrongdoing, and only where the facts are on the record.

Source standards

Sources are approved individually and carry a reliability rating. Single-source stories about companies or individuals require an on-the-record primary source. We do not aggregate rumour, anonymous forum content or unattributed social posts.

Review and publication

Drafts move through a fixed workflow: draft, editorial review, approved, scheduled, published. Reviewers can reject with a documented reason. Rejected drafts are retained for audit but never published.

Independence

Sponsored or commercial content, if published, is labelled clearly and never presented as newsroom reporting.
